Evolve Scientific is currently supporting a Global Oil & Gas Operator in seeking two experienced Laboratory Analysts to join them on Barrow Island work as part of the core plant operations team. This position is a 14:14 roster for an initial 2-year contract.   Description: The Laboratory Analyst is a key member of plant operations, responsible for both laboratory work and on‑plant sampling. They collect and analyse routine and non‑routine fluid samples to provide essential data for daily operations, long‑term plant management, and regulatory compliance with NOPSEMA, DMP and environmental licence requirements. Their work supports pipeline and asset integrity, well management, and operational decision‑making. Cargo verification, certification and process allocation are critical samples and analyses that are used to assign costs to export cargoes and the Joint venture partners. Understanding and meeting these contract requirements is a key part of the analyst’s role to ensure that the client does not breach or incorrectly assign value to their partners. Sampling activities are high‑risk and demand strong technical competence, process understanding, and specialised training. Analysts must hold at least a science degree or diploma and have knowledge of LNG processes. Analysts will collectively sample and analyze all process and utility facilities including the upstream subsea onshore utility processes, Domestic Gas plant, storage and loading facilities for Condensate and LNG, Utilities, Subsea, Inlet facilities, condensate processing, LNG Trains and CO2 injection facilities.
