About the role:We have an exciting opportunity for an Analytical Laboratory Technician to join our client`s team, on a full-time casual basis for 2–3 months. Working under the guidance of their Analytical Chemist, you’ll contribute to chemical and physical testing that supports agriculture, new product development, and production improvements in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.Duties:Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment.Perform wet chemistry techniques including titration, pH measurement, and instrument calibration.Collect samples from production areas.Monitor and report consumables stock levels.Collate and communicate test results to stakeholders.Assisting with method development and drafting instructions under supervision.Identifying and implementing workflow improvements as directed. Skills/Experience: Education: Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (or equivalent).Experience: No formal experience required, just a strong willingness to learn and grow.Skills:Familiarity with wet lab techniques (extractions, titration, pH probe use).Competent in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word).Bonus: Experience with HPLC, GC-MS, viscometers, colorimeters, or texture analysers.Personal Attributes:Strong communication skills for interacting across teams.Commitment to continuous improvement and safe work practices. Apply!
