About the Company Our client is a leading plastic packaging manufacturer, supplying food-grade containers to major dairy and beverage brands across Australia. The business has recently invested in a brand-new, purpose-built blow moulding facility in Pemulwuy, NSW, positioning it among the most advanced sites globally.
About the Role We are seeking a Moulder Technician to ensure the efficient, continuous running of the production line, from the Blow Moulder through to the bagger, including the vision system, leak tester, accumulation conveyors, and grinder rooms.
This is a technical role, not a machine operating position, suited to someone technically minded, understands plastic processing and can independently identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment faults in a high-speed, high-volume environment.
Duties- Ensure machines run efficiently, according to production plan and daily KPIs
- Monitor cycle times, machine performance and product quality/specs
- Manage machine start-ups, stoppages, and adjustments
- Identify and fix the underlying cause of equipment issues, not just a quick fix
- Capture downtime data via the shop floor system
- Work closely with the Shift Supervisor, QA, and production teams
- Ensure compliance with WHS, Food Safety, and Quality Standards
Skills / Experience- Experience in plastic processing, injection, or blow moulding
- Technically minded, positive "can-do" attitude
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving skills
- Experience in fast-paced, high-speed manufacturing
- Background in food-grade or regulated manufacturing
