About the Role:

Our client is experiencing growth, as a result, they are currently seeking a Clinical Trials Coordinator to join their team in Brisbane to help lead and drive clinical trial research projects. Reporting to the Associate Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for management and coordination of the projects from start-up through to close out.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who may not have been able to be involved in an end-end process to date in their career but is seeking to gain this experience!

Key responsibilities:
  • Evaluation and feasibility of new projects
  • Prepare, submit and maintain records of ethics applications 
  • Development of documentation – recruitment plan, data management plan, budget and financials for projects as required
  • Liaise and maintain productive relationships including health professionals, internal and external investigators, study researchers and clinical staff. 
  • Continuously monitor trial processes and recruitment status and recommend improvements to meet project milestones and to adhere to quality standards. 

Skills and Experience:
The successful applicants will have/be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Tertiary qualifications in health-related discipline
  • 2-5 years’ experience in the conduct and management of commerical Clinical trials in a healthcare setting
  • A current TransCelerate endorsed ICH-GCP Certification
  • Experience in oncology/hematology highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the requirements and procedures that must be followed that relate to research ethics, governance, privacy, ICH-GCP and regulatory compliance
  • A pro-active approach to work and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate several studies at the same time;

The salary offered will be dependent upon your skills, qualifications and experience against those required for the position.
