About the company/role:
Our client is a nationally and internationally recognised organic certification organisation who is seeking a Compliance Manager to join their team. Their certification services covers the entire supply chain from farming and processing through to packaging and export. This is an office based, permanent full-time role and will have 6 direct reports. This role is ideal for someone who has senior level ISO accredited operational experience.
  • Maintaining the quality management system
  • Managing the delivery of certification programs to clients
  • Liaise with related industry partners on new certification programs
  • Investigation of compliance related complaints
  • Providing training and technical support to other staff members and contractors
  • Performance reviews on certified staff and contractors
  • Report and data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Food Science/ Agricultural Science or a related discipline
  • Previous experience working in a ISO accredited operational environment
  • In depth knowledge of internal auditing
  • Exceptional technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience managing a team
