About the company/role:    
Our client is a leader in the field of medical devices and is very close to the launch of a new product. We are looking for a switched-on Electronics Engineer who is looking to work in a large, dynamic and high-achieving team. The successful candidate is responsible for developing, troubleshooting, and validating Bed of Nail test systems, as well as providing technical support to PCBA suppliers.

Duties:
  • Design, develop, and validate Bed of Nail PCBA test systems to ensure they meet the required specifications and performance criteria
  • Conduct testing & validation of systems, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ)
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for PCBA suppliers regarding test methods and system functionality
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for test system validation, including Work Instructions (WIs)

Skills & Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field is essential
  • Previous experience in medical device/automotive/electronics manufacturing, is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and electromechanical systems
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in test systems
  • Familiarity with validation processes, including IQ, OQ, and PQ
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
