Encapsulation Machine Operator

About the company/role:
Our client, a TGA-licensed leader in complementary medicines and bio-fermented products, is seeking an experienced Encapsulation Machine Operator to join their dynamic production team.

This is a permanent, full-time position on the afternoon shift: Monday to Thursday 3:05pm – 11:45pm and Friday 12pm - 6pm.

Duties will include:

• Set up, operate, and monitor encapsulation machines efficiently and safely
• Perform routine quality checks on capsules to ensure compliance with specifications
• Follow batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and SOPs with accuracy
• Troubleshoot machine issues and escalate when necessary
• Complete all required documentation clearly and accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with GMP standards
• Participate in changeovers and ensure minimal downtime
• Uphold cGMP, hygiene, and workplace safety at all times

Skills/experience:

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience operating encapsulation machinery in a GMP-regulated environment (pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food manufacturing)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on tasks
