About the company/role:
  • Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Australia who specializies in local hygiene solutions including cleaners, sanitisers or disinfectants has engaged Evolve Scientific to source a Field Service Technician for their south-east Melbourne site
  • Seeking experienced Electricians or Service Technicians to join their team
  • Permanent Full-time role
  • Open to Electricians who have recently recieved their apprenticeship.

Duties:

Reporting to the National Field Service Manager, the Service Technician is responsible for installing new equipment, working with third party contractors to complete remote service and completing repairs. Your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Extensive travel to conduct site visits to clients within the VIC region.
  • Maintenance, repair, and installation of chemical dispensing equipment - dishwasher programming, laundry, dispensers, Clean-in-place (CIP) systems in factories.
  • Documentation of your work, monitoring of inventory for clients and updating systems.
  • Development of strong client relationships.
  • Database entry and conducting quality checks and occasional audits.

Skills & Experience
  • Current VIC electrical license.
  • Yearly flu vaccination.
  • Blue-card (willingness to obtain).
  • Basic plumbing experience.
  • Is mechanically minded with experience in workshops, maintenance, repairs, trades, or handyman-style work.
  • Loves to be hands on in a role and getting to meet new people every day to build new relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and time management skills.
  • Has the ability to work autonomously – a self-starter!
  • Open Australian driver’s license with a clean driving history.
  • Must be comfortable completing a federal police check and undertaking random drug and alcohol testing.
