We are currently seeking a
Group Quality Manager to join this dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the overall compliance framework, continuance improvements and day to day management of quality systems and quality assurance across the
Reporting to the Director of Operations, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
About the role:- Lead and drive the overall compliance framework
- Continuous improvement, and day to day management of the quality systems
- Ensure that the manufacturing facility manufactures and release of product to the market
- Comply with the marketing authorisation and current TGA requirements
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Lead, develop, and coach the Quality team, ensuring the team are skilled and qualified to deliver the required outcomes
- Provide annual Business Department strategy, planning and budget requirements with endorsement of the Director of Operations
- Work with Supply Chain for the approval of new materials and stability programs to support product shelf life
- Recruit, engage and develop the Quality teams across both the Corporate and Manufacturing sites
- Participate in the internal pharmacovigilance system where required.
- Provide support and education for the review and investigation of customer complaints as required.
Skills & experience: To be successful in this position you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in science, medical, health or life sciences
- Minimum 10 years’ management/leadership experience in pharmaceutical, complementary medicines or the food industry.
- Experience in areas of manufacturing, quality assurance or quality control.
- Complementary Medicines experience preferred.
- Effective leadership of Quality and Quality Assurance teams of 5 employees
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
