About the company/role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead quality, compliance, and laboratory operations within a regulated nutraceutical/complementary medicines environment.
  • Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
  • Permanent opportunity
  • Full-time, normal business hours 

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Provide end‑to‑end leadership of Quality and Compliance in line with TGA GMP requirements.
  • Act as the primary contact for the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), including audits and inspections.
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve a robust Quality Management System.
  • Lead laboratory set‑up and operations, ensuring GMP and GLP‑aligned practices.
  • Oversee equipment qualification and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), validation master plans, and revalidation activities.
  • Ensure quality oversight of manufacturing, raw materials, suppliers, and finished products.
  • Drive a strong quality culture and mentor a high‑performing Quality team.
  • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to support compliant product development and manufacturing.

Skills/experience required:

  • Proven senior quality leadership experience in nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or complementary medicines.
  • Strong working knowledge of TGA regulations, GMP, and validation principles.
  • Hands‑on experience establishing laboratories and quality systems from the ground up.
  • Confident leader with excellent stakeholder and regulatory engagement skills.
