HR Data Analyst

About the company/role:

• Global pharmaceutical company
• Based in CBD but must be flexible across other sites
• 3-month casual contract
• Full-time hours, Mon-Fri
• WFH 2 days a week (once trained)

Duties, but not limited to:

• Support data accuracy improvements across Workday and other HR systems
• Heavy data review and validation across multiple sources
• Review contracts and historical employee information
• Apply payroll rules, EA requirements, and legislative considerations
• Collaborate with HRBPs, Payroll, Industrial Relations, and Legal
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate approvals for system updates
• Ensure compliance with HR and payroll policies

Skills/experience:

• HR experience with strong data and systems focus
• Workday experience (highly preferred)
• Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, tax, and Enterprise Agreements
• Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and contract interpretation
• Strong Excel capability
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Awareness of payroll processes (not required to be a payroll specialist)
