This role is based in Melbourne’s inner west.

About the Role

This is a consistent, ongoing full‑time casual role with strong potential to transition to permanent employment within 6–12 months. 

Shifts vary, so flexibility is ideal. 
This position is not just a truck‑driving job. We are seeking all‑rounders who are comfortable getting off the truck and performing hands‑on labour and equipment operation

As an HR Driver / Labourer, you will operate vacuum tankers and liquid waste vehicles while also assisting with industrial cleaning and site‑service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liquid waste collection using vacuum tankers
  • Transporting waste to approved treatment and recycling facilities
  • Drain and pit cleaning using vacuum extraction equipment
  • High‑pressure water blasting inside tanks, pits, and industrial assets
  • Assisting with industrial cleaning and site service projects
  • Completing work to meet customer expectations
  • Conducting daily pre‑start checks, maintenance, and safety inspections
  • Following all safety, environmental, and operational procedures
Must have:
  • HR truck license 
  • Experience within the water industry, in particular within construction and rehabilitation of water or sewer networks (Industrial experience preferred)
  • Commitment to work safety and ability to work in a team
  • Confined space and Working at Heights (desirable)
