About the Company
Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer, delivering innovative hygiene solutions to commercial and industrial environments. They are currently seeking a Hygiene Auditor to join their Queensland team.

This is a casual position that involves regional travel across North Queensland (approximately two weeks per month). To support you, the company will provide a vehicle, mobile phone, and iPad. When based in Townsville, you will work from home.

About the role
Reporting to the Hygiene Area Manager, the Hygiene Auditor plays a critical role in delivering the company’s audit program across designated market segments. This position combines technical expertise with customer engagement to ensure compliance and promote best-practice hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits and accurately capture insights
  • Train and coach customer staff on hygiene best practices
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on dispensing equipment
  • Execute the audit program in line with established KPIs
  • Ensure all services comply with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Build strong operational relationships with customers to understand needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide tailored recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with the Hygiene Area Manager and Audit Services Managers to deliver on promised service outcomes

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
  • A current driver’s license with a clean driving record (mandatory)
  • Willingness to receive flu vaccinations (mandatory)
  • Ability to complete a federal police check
  • Experience in food safety (highly desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and basic tool-handling skills
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Excellent time management and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
