Innovation Lead. Located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, This is a company that is passionate to work with their customers to develop innovative new cleaning & hygiene solutions to help keep Australian communities safer and cleaner.
About the role Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Innovation lead, is a newly established role. InnovationLead is responsible for driving innovation across the organisation by identifying new opportunities, leading strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement. Key objectives are:
- Establish a stand-alone, commercially focused innovation function that is market-led and customer-centric.
- Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Develop Innovation pipeline of products and equipment to support the growth aspirations of the business.
- Strengthening customer relationships
- Lead sustainable innovative solutions
- Maintaining a robust pipeline of new products aligned with customer needs, regulatory changes, and future trends.
- Maintain the NPD process and enhance change management practices to ensure smooth implementation
Skills & experience: To be successful for this role, you will possess the following:
- Minimum of 7 years experience 7+ years in innovation, product development, growth strategy.
- Post graduate qualification in Chemistry or Chemical engineering or a related discipline
- Previous experience working with chemical or liquids would be highly regarded
- Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally.
As the Innovation lead, you will be a strong leader, mentor, drive and motivate your team.
You must possess initiative, enthusiasm, have the ability to make crucial decisions independently.
