About the company/role:
Our client is a diagnostic test-kit company with +30 years’ experience working across a wide range of industries: agriculture, aquarium, environmental, food & beverage, industrial and more. This role will focus on internal sales in the food & beverage space and will report to the External Sales & Account Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role and is ideal for a Food Science/ Biology graduate who is seeking a challenging, technical sales position.
  • Initially focusing on internal sales and working closely with account managers
  • Become a key technical and application expert for the product range
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Liaise with customers to process orders and prepare quotes
  • Manage phone and e-mail enquiries for new and existing customers
  • General administrative duties
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Business - Food Science/ Biology will be highly regarded
  • Previous sales/ customer service experience would be highly regarded
  • Prior knowledge of laboratory instrumentation/ testing would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to use initiative and prioritise tasks
