Lab Technician

About the Company & Role: 
Our client is a Global Leader in Water, Hygiene & Contamination Control for the Life Sciences sector, with over 60 years of trusted service in Australia.

They are seeking a Lab Technician to join their team in an ongoing full-time role.  
 
Duties:

• Perform general housekeeping
• Conduct sample preparation
• Clean and prepare sample bottles, eskies, and ice bricks
• Conduct routine physical testing of samples (pH, conductivity, turbidity, gravimetric analysis, and titrations)
• Set up, operate, and maintain all lab equipment
• Collect samples from external sites for lab analysis

 
Skills & Experience:

• Valid driver’s licence (required)
• No degree or prior experience needed – full training provided
• Tertiary qualification in science (highly regarded)
• Experience in analytical testing (highly regarded)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Eager to learn and develop new skills
• Self-driven with the ability to work under minimal supervision
