Major pharmaceutical company based in Northern suburbs of Melbourne
Seeking two Lab Technicians to join their team on a part-time basis
3-month contract with potential for extension
Immediate start
Duties:
Support daily lab operations, including cleaning, basic maintenance, and waste management.
Manage stocktake activities, collect supplies, and coordinate ordering.
Pick up and deliver samples according to lab procedures.
Maintain laboratory equipment, including routine checks and upkeep of items like water baths.
Assist with general facility maintenance and reporting issues.
Coordinate sample flow and ensure accurate tracking.
Enter data, log samples, record microorganism IDs, and document results in line with SOP standards.
Skills & experience:
Bachelor of Science majoring in relevant discipline
Demonstrated experience working within a GMP/GLP environment
Strong windows-based software experience, eg, SAP
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Excellent communication skills
