Laboratory Manager

About the company/role:
Our client, one of Australia’s leading manufacturers are seeking a Laboratory Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis with working hours Monday to Friday 0830-1700.

As a Laboratory Manager you will manage the laboratory to achieve a high level of analytical competency whilst maintaining the quality management systems.
Duties:
 

• Provide leadership and direction for the day-to-day operations of the laboratory
• Ensure the timely release of raw materials and finished products
• Contribute to innovations and improvement of the department
• Comply with GLP, GMP and Quality Management Systems
• Provide reporting and documentation to a high standard

Skills/experience:
 

• Tertiary qualification in science, chemistry or equivalent
• Significate experience within a fast-paced chemistry laboratory environment 
• Strong analytical technical knowledge within a GMP environment
• Experience in leading, managing and mentoring a team and tracking performance of staff
• Prior TGA, FDA, GMP experience 
• Excellent organisational and delegation skills are essential along with an ability to prioritise
