About the company:
This global organisation is well-known within the food manufacturing industry and are located in regional Victoria in Echuca. Due to substantial growth they have partnered with Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source a Laboratory Technician to join the team on a casual ongoing basis. 

About the role:
This role requires the Laboratory Technician to be flexible with days/hours on day, afternoon and rotating weekend shifts. 

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, your responsibilities may include:
  • Collection, sorting and registration of samples
  • Chemical and microbiological testing of samples
  • Setting up sensory samples 
  • Calibration of instruments
  •  Media and culture preparation
  • SAP and Excel data entry
  • General housekeeping

About you: 
  • Tertiary education in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, or similar
  • Reliable and good work ethic 
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
