Seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Quality team
Part-time hours (3-4 days a week including some weekend work)
4-6 months casual contract
Duties, but not limited to :
Collection of samples
Chemical and microbiological testing of samples
Sensory testing of samples
Calibration of instruments
Assisting in production issues and internal audits
Ensuring GMP standards
General housekeeping
Full training will be provided for the first 2 weeks (full-time hours for training).
Skills/experience:
Bachelor of Science (majoring in Food Science, Microbiology or closely related discipline)
Previous laboratory experience would be ideal
Reliable and good work ethic
Great attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
