Laboratory Technician - Chemistry

About the role: 

• Chemistry based laboratory
• Located in the suburbs of Melbourne
• Ongoing casual contract
• Full time hours, Monday-Friday
• Recent graduates highly encouraged to apply!
• Full training provided

Duties, but not limited to:

• Analysis of samples using basic wet chemistry techniques
• Calibration of laboratory equipment
• Sample and solution preparation
• Perform data entry into electronic system
• Liaising with internal stakeholders
• Assist with the maintenance of documentation
• General housekeeping and laboratory maintenance

Skills & experience:

• Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or similar
• Previous experience in a laboratory would be highly advantageous
• Good understanding of GLP and GMP
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
