About the role: We are currently seeking a part-time Chemistry student to work within the Food Industry on a contract position. The position is located in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
Ideally you will be in your second or final year of University. This role is to work a minimum of 2 days per week over the University break.
Your main responsibilities include.- Preparation of samples from customers
- Basic wet chemistry preparations
- Calibrating Laboratory instruments
- General housekeeping.
Skills & experience: To be successful in this position you will be studying a Bachelor of Chemistry or related discipline. It's a great opportunity for you to put into practice everything you have learned at University
You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in fast-paced environment. You must be passionate, show drive and initiative.
This position is to start ASAP and to work over the summer break.
