Laboratory Assistant to join the team on an
2 month casual basis (strong potential to extend).
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to gain some industry experience and assist with both product development and laboratory-based duties.
About the role: Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, your main responsibilities may include:
- Completing frying trials on products
- Basic QC laboratory testing of products (titrations, micro testing, pipetting)
- Weighing out raw materials for production
- Data entry and result compilation
- Laboratory housekeeping
About you:- Bachelor of Science, majoring in Food Science
- Comfortable working independently and with high temperature frying vessels
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Methodical, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
