About the company/role:Our client, a global leader in the water, waste and environmental industry, is currently seeking a
Land Management Officer on a
casual basis, for
12 months working any
3 days per week, with flexible start/finish times.
This role will manage a vacant plot of land, coordinating with contractors to keep the lot clean and operational.
Duties will also include:
- Conducting risk assessments on the vacant lot.
- Maintain documentation and records of site activities.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and occasionally with clients.
- Support transition to operational duties at the adjacent plant after initial site setup.
Skills/experience: To be considered for this position you must:
- A background in environmental science, land management, or natural resource management would be highly desirable.
- Experience with site maintenance, land rehabilitation, or environmental compliance would be advantageous.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
- Familiarity with gas and water infrastructure and experience working on or near industrial or utility sites.
- Competence in record-keeping, report writing, and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills are required as you will have to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
