The role: The company is a well-known waste management and environmental services organisation based in
North Bannister. They are currently looking for a
Landfill Operator on a
contract basis with the potential to go permanent. It will ensure the safe, efficient disposal and coverage of waste materials.
- 10.5 hour days.
- Shifts: 4:30am to 3pm and 7:30am to 6pm (approximately).
- Must be flexible to work weekends.
- Overtime available.
- $40 per day for travel expenses.

Responsibilities:- Assist in the operational management of the work area.
- Communicating with the Operations Supervisor prior to commencement of work to ensure work instructions are clear and work location is confirmed.
- Work with drivers to assist in the correct unloading of waste at the site.
- Managing various waste streams
- Operating various machinery such as Dozers, Compactors, Loader, Excavators, Articulated Dump Trucks, Graders, Rollers
About you:- Heavy Machinery Experience: Dozers, Compactors, Loader, Excavators, Articulated Dump Trucks, Graders, Rollers experience preferred, but not essential.
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Safety First attitude.
