As a Machine Operator, you’ll report to the Shift Team Leader, working in a dynamic manufacturing environment to drive operational efficiency and seamless production. 

Day Shift (6:00 am - 2:00 pm)


Duties:
  • Operate specialised machinery and computer software related to dairy manufacturing
  • Ensure smooth production by supplying production lines with materials as required
  • Complete pre-operational, CCP, CIP and visual inspection checks with associated documentation
  • Perform daily personal and operational safety checks and implement risk control measures
  • Monitor downtime issues and assist with production bottlenecks/ breakdowns
  • Train new staff members and assist with managing workflow
  • Regular manual handling, repetitive lifting and occasional exposure to cold conditions (12-16C)

Skills/experience:

  • Experience operating machinery in a food manufacturing environment is essential
  • Mechanical and computer aptitude is required for this role
  • Exposure and understanding of HACCP, food safety and WHS in a food production environment
  • Certificate III or IV in Food Processing is highly regarded
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine and production related problems
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, manufacturing team environment
