A well-established pharmaceutical company is seeking a Machine Operator to join their production team. This is an ongoing contract role offering stability and consistent hours.
This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environments.
About your duties:
Operate and monitor automated packing and labelling machinery to ensure smooth production flow.
Perform routine troubleshooting and minor adjustments on machines to resolve issues quickly and minimise downtime.
Conduct quality checks on products, ensuring compliance with strict pharmaceutical standards.
Accurately label, pack, and prepare products for dispatch.
Maintain production records and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and uphold safety standards.
Assist with cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
About you:
Previous experience in a fast-paced pharmaceutical, food, or manufacturing environment.
Strong background in machine operation, with proven ability to troubleshoot packing and labelling equipment.
Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive tasks and manual duties.
Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Knowledge of GMP and safety compliance is highly regarded.
