About the role:
  • A well-established pharmaceutical company is seeking a Machine Operator to join their production team. This is an ongoing contract role offering stability and consistent hours.
    • Shift: Monday – Friday, Afternoon shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm)
    • Location: Southeastern suburbs
    • Start: Immediate
    This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environments.
About your duties:
  • Operate and monitor automated packing and labelling machinery to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Perform routine troubleshooting and minor adjustments on machines to resolve issues quickly and minimise downtime.
  • Conduct quality checks on products, ensuring compliance with strict pharmaceutical standards.
  • Accurately label, pack, and prepare products for dispatch.
  • Maintain production records and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and uphold safety standards.
  • Assist with cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
About you:
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced pharmaceutical, food, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in machine operation, with proven ability to troubleshoot packing and labelling equipment.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive tasks and manual duties.
  • Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of GMP and safety compliance is highly regarded.
