Machine Operator - Day Shift

About the company:

• Well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing organization located in the Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne
• Seeking a machine operator on day shift
• Hours: 7 am - 3 pm
• Monday - Friday
• Attractive Salary

The successful candidate may be considered for a permanent position later down the line with a potential to grow into a line leadership role, therefore, the company is seeking someone with strong pharmaceutical experience and great leadership skills.

About the role:

Reporting to the Line Leader, you will be primarily responsible for working along the packing line:

Your duties may include:

• Machine operation and packing of products
• Cleaning and maintaining manufacturing equipment
• Quality check and labelling of products
• Following regulations and SOPs

About you:

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a fast-paced pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment 
• Robust understanding of GMP
• Prior experience in packing boxes and troubleshooting packing/labelling machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and coordination. 
• Excellent attention to detail
• Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
