Machine Operators

About the role:

We’re urgently seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join our client`s team at a leading food & beverage manufacturing facility in Richlands. These are casual roles with rotating 12-hour shifts, offering consistent full-time hours each week, and the potential for permanent employment. You’ll be working across high-speed production lines, supporting the efficient and safe operation of the manufacturing processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate & Monitor Machinery: Set up, start, and oversee high-speed production equipment to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and adjustments to minimize downtime and maintain performance.
• Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections for product consistency, labeling, and packaging accuracy. Report or correct any deviations.
• Data Recording: Accurately log production metrics and machine performance for traceability and continuous improvement.
• Safety & Hygiene: Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and compliant work environment.

 
Skills and experience:

• Previous experience in FMCG or manufacturing is ideal but not essential – full training provided.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn. 
• No forklift license required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed production environment.
• Comfortable with 12-hour rotating shifts (2 lines run 24/5, 2 lines run 24/7).
• Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
