Manufacturing Operator

About the role:
Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in the beautiful Sunshine Coast, require a Manufacturing Operator to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
This role requires you to work weekdays from 7:30am to 4pm with an early finish on Fridays!

Duties of your new role include, but not be limited to:

• Operation of various machinery and equipment;
• Packing of products into containers;
• Cleaning of room and some equipment, following strict procedures;
• Sampling of products;
• Maintenance and completion of database entry and administration tasks;
• Identify and report quality issues while working;
• Assist with general production duties.

 
To be successful the following attributes will be HIGHLY regarded:

• Experience in cosmetic, bakery, food & beverage processing or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry; or those with transferable skills;
• Mechanical/Technical TAFE qualification would be highly regarded;
• A current forklift license is desirable, but not mandatory;
• Understanding of quality control;
• A high attention to detail and time management skills;
• A reliable and strong work ethic;
• A willingness to undertake and pass a full medical assessment and drug screening;
• And those with a great attitude who love working in a team!
