Manufacturing Operator

About the role:

• Major pharmaceutical company
• Based in the Southeast suburbs 
• Flexible to work across both day and night shifts
• 12 month contract 

About your duties: 

• Preparing equipment for manufacturing
• Ensuring machine operation runs smoothly
• Operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
• Maintaining and recording manufacturing documentation
• Manual handling of samples
• Cleaning of manufacturing environment – rooms and equipment
• Maintaining hygiene standards including gowning and aseptic techniques
• Preventative maintenance checks

About you: 

• Bachelor of Science, Pharmaceutical Science or Engineering would be highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of GMP and cleanroom environments
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong mechanical mind with the ability to problem solve.
• Quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, good communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
