About the company: Our client is a national beverages manufacturer with well-known brands. They are currently seeking a
Microbiologist for a full-time casual assignment until March 2025; with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
This role will require you to complete a pre-employment medical and you must be
able to start immediately!
About the Role:The
Microbiologist will be responsible for the following:
- Media preparation;
- Collection and preparation of samples for analysis;
- Membrane filtration;
- Pour plates;
- Maintaining accurate documentation;
- Analyse and report test results.
If you are a recent graduate and haven’t gained any industry experience just yet, don’t worry! FULL training will be provided. If you think you have a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn then make sure to apply!
Selection Criteria:To be considered for this position you
MUST have:
- Bachelor of Science majoring in Microbiology or tertiary degree level qualifications in any equivalent sciences;
- Knowledge of GMP, Quality Management Systems and HACCP an advantage;
- Excellent communication to liaise with internal stakeholders in manufacturing and quality assurance;
- Ability to accurately monitor and report on results of laboratory tests;
- A keen work ethic and the ability to pick up new skills quickly;
- A current drivers’ license and a car as public transport is limited.
- Graduates with good Microbiology knowledge are encouraged to apply
