About the company and role: Well-known food manufacturing companies located in
various area of WA are currently undergoing substantial growth. We are currently seeking
Microbiologists of varying levels of experience who are looking for a foot in the door into such companies. Both
full-time permanent and
contract positions (including part-time opportunities) are available, as well as opportunities for
day, afternoon or night shifts.
If you are a recent Microbiology Graduate, we encourage you to apply as training will be provided. General duties may include, but are not limited to:- Sample receipt and data entry
- Performing environmental swabbing and sampling of site water
- Performing plating techniques, microbial plate reading and microbial identification
- Entering results in a Laboratory Information Management System
- Assisting with preparation, review and update of Standard Operation Procedures and Procedures for testing
- Participating in investigation of out of specification results as required
- Ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained / prepared in accordance with approved procedures
About you:- Completed or be studying a Bachelor of Science (Microbiology) or a related discipline
- Strong work ethic
- Quality focused individual with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Work experience from a fast-paced environment
In addition to this you will have excellent communication and time management skills.
