Microbiologist

About the Role:

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Microbiologist to join their quality team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with foundational industry experience to contribute to the safety and quality of therapeutic products while developing their career in microbiology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in accordance with GMP and TGA guidelines.
• Conduct environmental monitoring of cleanrooms and controlled areas.
• Maintain accurate and compliant laboratory documentation.
• Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a microbiology lab.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques, microbial testing, and GMP, TGA and FDA compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
