About the company and roles:
We are currently seeking Microbiology graduates looking for a foot in the door into the industry. We work with various industries (food, pharmaceuticals, chemical, mining etc.) across a range of roles. Both full-time permanent and short-term temporary contract positions will be available, as well as opportunities for day, afternoon or night shifts.
General duties may include, but are not limited to:- Sample receipt and data entry
- Performing result entry in Laboratory Information Management System
- Performing Microbial plate reading and microbial identification
- Assisting with preparation, review and update of Standard Operation Procedures and Procedures for testing
- Participating in investigation of out of specification results as required
- Ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained / prepared in accordance with approved procedures
About you:- Completed or be studying a Bachelor of Science (Microbiology) or a related discipline
- Previous experience working in a lab environment desirable
- Strong work ethic
- Quality focused individual with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- A current car and license would be advantageous
