About the company/role: Our client is a well-known alcoholic beverage manufacturer based in Sydney’s Inner West. They have a short-term, full-time day shift role from the beginning of February to April, However there is likelihood for extension. This position will be part of the microbial team carrying out testing on alcoholic beverage samples.
Duties:
Aseptic sampling of alcoholic beverage samples
Basic microbial (plating, streaking) and analytical testing
Chlorine analysis in the manufacturing environment
Dispatch of samples for external laboratory testing
Laboratory administrative duties
Calibration of laboratory equipment
Skills/experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline
Microbial testing experience required
Previous experience working in the food/beverage industry highly desirable
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
Organised with excellent communication skills
