Shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm - 6:00am
Pay Rate: $46/hr (inclusive of casual loading and night shift loading) + Super
Duration: Ongoing Casual with Full-Time Hours
About the Opportunity We're partnering with a well-established plastics manufacturer that supplies high-quality products across Australia. Due to continued growth, we're seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Production Operator to join the night shift team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working hands-on with machinery, troubleshooting equipment, and taking ownership of production processes rather than simply loading and unloading products.
With consistent full-time hours, a stable Monday-Friday roster, and a supportive team environment, this role offers long-term security for the right person.
Duties:
- Monitoring and operating production machinery to ensure efficient output
- Performing machine changeovers, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks
- Identifying and resolving minor mechanical issues to minimise downtime
- Conducting quality inspections and investigating product defects
- Supporting production scheduling and workflow requirements
- Operating a forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
About you:- Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience operating machinery within manufacturing, plastics, packaging, food production, or similar industries
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence working around industrial machinery
- Experience completing machine set-ups, adjustments, or troubleshooting is highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on night shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
