About the company/role: Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is seeking a
Packaging Operator to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, supporting the packaging of pharmaceutical products while ensuring quality, safety, and GMP standards are maintained. You will be joining a supportive, collaborative team with ongoing training and development opportunities.
The successful candidates must be able to work rotating (morning and afternoon) shifts and complete a full medical and criminal history check.
Duties:- Set up and operate packaging machinery, including blister pack, bottle, carton, and labelling equipment.
- Monitor production lines and make basic machine adjustments as required.
- Pack, inspect, and label pharmaceutical products in line with quality standards.
- Complete production paperwork and enter data into company systems.
- Identify machine faults, product defects, and production issues, reporting them to supervisors as required.
- Follow daily production schedules and meet team targets.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.
- Follow GMP, SOP, and workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
- Work closely with team members to keep production running smoothly.
Skills/Experience:- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or machine operation roles.
- Experience working with automated or semi-automated machinery is highly regarded.
- Mechanically minded with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow procedures and complete documentation accurately.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
- Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for extended periods.
