About the Company & Role: 
Our client is a Global Leader in Water, Waste, and Environmental Management, with over 40 years of experience delivering essential services across Australia.
They’re looking for a Plant Operator to join their team in an ongoing full-time role, with a strong chance of going permanent.
Monday to Friday, Morning Shift 6am–2pm / Afternoon Shift 12pm–8pm
 
Duties:
  • Test water samples for ammonia, pH, turbidity, and conductivity in onsite lab
  • Log results using Excel to track data and operations
  • Use the SCADA system to monitor and control plant processes
  • Manual labour - lifting up to 20kg
  • Operate pumps and valves out in the field
  • Keep machinery clean and in top shape with daily equipment checks
  • Direct plant traffic so tankers can unload smoothly
  • Handle plant start-up and shut-down procedures
 
Skills & Experience:
  • Plant or operator experience - highly regarded
  • Water treatment knowledge - highly regarded
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Able to work solo or in a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Forklift license - highly regarded
  • Confined space ticket - highly regarded
