About the company/role: Our government client, based in the North Coast Region are seeking a PO3 Surveyor to join their team on a temporary basis until May 2027, with possibility of extension.
As a PO3 Surveyor you will perform field surveys, producing geospatial products and provide spatial services. You will perform a range of engineering surveys and provide technical expertise and consultancy service in geospatial applications to a diverse range of customers to ensure success, value for money and best practice are adopted.
Duties:- Performing field survey for the delivery of geospatial products and services
- Capture and process geospatial survey data ensuring quality of survey meets requirements
- Plan, assign, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of team members as required.
- Actively participate in process improvement
Skills/experience: - A degree in Surveying from a recognised tertiary institution, or a qualification that is acceptable for registration as a surveyor/surveying graduate with the Surveyors Board of Queensland (SBQ)
- Experience delivering surveys to required standards
- Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certificate
- A ‘C’ Class drivers' licence
