As a Process Engineer, you’ll report to the Site Engineer and Operations Manager, working in a dynamic manufacturing environment to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Duties:
Oversee daily production operations and provide technical support to the production team
Analyse and monitor production processes drive efficiency, reduce costs, and minimise waste
Lead engineering projects, including defining scopes, budgets, and timelines
Design and implement training programs for the production team
Develop, update, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, and regulatory requirements
Investigate and resolve quality issues related to process parameters
Skills & Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a process engineering role within food manufacturing
Strong knowledge of production equipment and systems
Experience developing training programs and writing detailed SOPs
Proven project management experience, including planning, execution, and commissioning
Proficient in process simulation software and CAD tools
Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
