As a Process Engineer, you’ll report to the Site Engineer and Operations Manager, working in a dynamic manufacturing environment to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
 
Duties:
  • Oversee daily production operations and provide technical support to the production team
  • Analyse and monitor production processes drive efficiency, reduce costs, and minimise waste
  • Lead engineering projects, including defining scopes, budgets, and timelines
  • Design and implement training programs for the production team
  • Develop, update, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues related to process parameters

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a process engineering role within food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of production equipment and systems
  • Experience developing training programs and writing detailed SOPs
  • Proven project management experience, including planning, execution, and commissioning
  • Proficient in process simulation software and CAD tools
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
