Process Operator We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading packaging and logistics client based in Erskine Park for Process Operators. This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean production environment and be involved in a newly established pilot process within a well known organisation.
About the Role You will be working on a processing line handling reusable plastic crates, pallets, and bins. The role focuses on barcode application, scanning, and quality checking as part of a new process that is still being refined.
This position suits candidates who enjoy hands on work, have strong attention to detail, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
Successful candidates are required to start immediately, starting Wednesday, May 6th. Key Responsibilities- Applying and relabelling barcodes and RF labels on crates and pallets
- Scanning and checking barcodes to ensure functionality
- Conducting quality checks and identifying faults or issues
- Manual handling of pallets
- Supporting a pilot process where procedures are being developed and improved
- Working independently and collaboratively within a small team
Positions Available We are recruiting for two levels within this process:
- Junior Process Operator
Suitable for candidates from fast paced environments such as fast food, warehousing, or entry level production. The primary focus will be barcode relabelling and scanning tasks. - Experienced Operator / Leading Hand
Ideal for candidates with production or manufacturing experience who can assist in guiding and supporting the junior operator and contribute to process improvement.
Key Details- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

About You- Previous experience in production, warehousing, or packing environments is preferred
- Experience conducting quality checks is advantageous
- Forklift licence is beneficial but not essential
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to contribute to shaping a new process
