About company/role:

  • Based in Northern suburbs
  • 12-month contract, with strong potential to go permanent
  • Full-time hours

Duties:
  • Manage delivery of new and exisiting product development projects in accordance with agreed timelines and product standards
  • Manage projects through NPD Stage Gate process
  • Complete associated documentation and product specifications
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure full completion of project life cycle and proactively identify opportunities for improvement of existing products and processes
  • Ensure all product introductions and changes are compliant to relevant brand standards, product regulatory & quality standards

Skills/experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent
  • Proven project management and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with retailers and short shelf life products
  • Demonstrated experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of FSANZ, ACCC and other food compliance requirements
