About the company/role:
Our client is a provider of analytical laboratory testing equipment across a number of different areas: particle size, mineral testing, oil analysis and petrochemical . They are currently seeking a Product Sales Specialist to join their dynamic team based on the Central Coast. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on analytical testing experience who is ready to transition into a technical sales role. The position offers a blend of office and field work, with travel interstate required. You’ll report directly to the General Manager and play a key role in driving sales and building client relationships.

Duties:
  • Drive sales of analytical testing equipment and services to new and existing clients
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage customer accounts and build long-term client relationships
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and consultations
  • Travel interstate for client visits and conferences
  • Research industry trends, competitor activity and compliance with ASTM and ISO standards
  • Use Salesforce CRM to track sales performance, data and customer feedback to provide reports
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure tailored product recommendations for customers
Skills/experience:
  • Bachelors degree/ Diploma/ Trade qualification in Chemistry, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience with analytical testing of petroleum/ fuels is highly regarded
  • Experience in instrumentation sales is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ASTM and ISO standards is beneficial for the role
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or a related CRM
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Technical individual with an entrepreneurial aptitude
  • Eagerness to travel domestically and interstate as required
