About the company/role:

Our client is a growing leading manufacturer located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. They are seeking a Production Operator to start on the day shift (6am – 2pm) then to move to afternoon shift (2pm-10am) to join their team on a casual ongoing basis Monday to Friday, with the potential to go long term.

Duties:

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be primarily responsible for:
  • Very fine manual assembly work under a microscope
  • Following SOPs and maintaining quality of products
  • Familiar with an ISO regulated workplace
  • Setting up and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
  • Manufacturing medical device/pharmaceutical products
  • Conducting visual QC checks of products along the production line
  • Assembling components
  • Maintaining GMP batch documentation
  • Cleaning and maintaining manufacturing area
Skills/experience:
  • Demonstrated assembly production experience within ISO regulated workplace (Must have)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Capability to follow processes
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
