Production Operator

About the company/role:
Our Sydney Office is recruiting for a Production Operator role with a company that offers plastic crates, pallets and bins for all packaging requirements particularly within the food industry. This is a highly automated site based in Western Sydney. It is a full-time, day shift role (7am-2pm). Training is provided for this role with permanent opportunities.
 
Duties:

• Operation and monitoring of machinery which cleans and moves pallets
• Manual handling of pallets, crates and bins
• Inspection of pallets post-cleanliness, damage and defects
• Identify and report mechanical or software issues
• Perform basic troubleshooting
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks if required (with proper certification)
• Follow site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE

Skills/experience:

• Previous experience in a food or packaging manufacturing environment
• Forklift ticket is preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to manually handle at least 15kg
