About the company/role:
  • Our client, a global leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry based in the Northern suburbs
  • They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract basis with potential to extend
  • Monday – Friday, standard working hours
  • Immediate start

Duties:

Reporting to the Project Delivery Lead in the Fill Finish department,  you will be responsible for planning, designing and overseeing the delivery of the new facilities including the utility systems.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Project delivery of capital asset consistent with overall project objectives.
  • Gather and review data concerning facility or equipment specifications
  • Direct the commissioning and qualification the construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications and schedules.
  • Deliver project scope through all design phases, construction, FAT/SAT, start-up and verification testing in accordance with project requirements.
  • Create and deliver project file to the project document management solution.
  • Contribute to routine communication of project status for respective area (progress, budget, schedule, risk).

To be successful for the role, the ideal candidates will have:
 
  • Bachelor of Engineering, specialising in chemical, process or mechanical engineering
  • Experience within a regulated industry with strong knowledge around quality management.
  • Demonstrated success with at least 5+ years’ experience in Project Delivery, Design & Construction & Start-up, in biopharma, life sciences or other highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with the design and contruction of packaging lines in a GMP environment is highly advantageous 
  • Experienced in working collaboratively with a variety of internal and external resources to deliver successful projects, to a high level of quality, safely, on time and on budget.
  • Good understanding of cGMP, GEP and EHS&S requirements globally.
  • Demonstrated success consistently meeting performance metrics.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
