Project Manager - Engineering

About the company and role:

• Major pharmaceutical company
• Based in the Nothern suburbs of Melbourne
• 12-month casual contract, with potential to extend
• Fulltime hours

Duties, but not limited to:

• Lead various projects, ensuring delivery to scope, budget, and timeline
• Manage project documentation, budgets, schedules, and contracts
• Oversee commissioning, qualification, and construction activities
• Ensure compliance with GxP, GMP, and quality systems throughout the project lifecycle
• Support plant planning and develop operational and training materials
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure successful execution
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and global steering committees

Skills & experience:

• Tertiary education in Engineering, Science, Project Management or relevant discipline
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and project lifecycle phases as applied to large engineering and manufacturing operations
• Comprehensive understanding of quality management systems, risk management, contract management and budget planning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding and experience in GMP
