QA Coordinator

About the company/role:

• Food manufacturing company
• Based in the Northern suburbs
• 6-month fixed term contract
• Full-time, Mon-Fri
• Day shift but must be flexible 

Duties, but not limited to:

• Daily on-floor quality checks and oversee of production processes
• Development, implementation and maintenance of overall quality systems
• Update and review of SOPs
• Assist in internal and external audits (SQF, retailers)
• Investigation of customer complaints and non-conformances
• Training of staff
• Maintain GMP standards

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary education in Food Science, or similar
• Previous work experience in a similar role within food manufacturing environment
• Experience within high-risk industry or short shelf-life products (ideal)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Ability to lead/train junior staff (prior experience as a 2IC would be ideal)
