Daily on-floor quality checks and oversee of production processes
Development, implementation and maintenance of overall quality systems
Update and review of SOPs
Assist in internal and external audits (SQF, retailers)
Investigation of customer complaints and non-conformances
Training of staff
Maintain GMP standards
Skills/experience:
Tertiary education in Food Science, or similar
Previous work experience in a similar role within food manufacturing environment
Experience within high-risk industry or short shelf-life products (ideal)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and strong work ethic
Ability to lead/train junior staff (prior experience as a 2IC would be ideal)
