QA Manager

About the company/role: 

• Pharmaceutical company
• Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
• Permanent opportunity
• Full-time, normal business hours 

Duties & responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain the QMS and ensure quality systems are updated in line with regulatory requirements
• Liaise and co-operate with quality management and standards bodies
• Improve existing quality, safety documentation and processes
• Manage and maintain the internal audit process
• Oversee and develop document management system where required
• Approve and authorise specifications, sampling instructions, test methods and other Quality Control procedures

Skills/experience required:

• Tertiary qualifications in Science, Manufacturing or Engineering required
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally from the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
• Must be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, regulated environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
